Daniel unknowingly kept another.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daniel appeared in the doorway.<\/p>\n<p>He had heard his name.<\/p>\n<p>Celia\u2019s recorded image looked directly into the camera.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAsk him about the blue station wagon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daniel\u2019s face drained.<\/p>\n<p>I turned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat blue station wagon?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He did not answer.<\/p>\n<p>The video continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMara, if Daniel still has it, open the panel beneath the spare tire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then Celia leaned closer.<\/p>\n<p>Her voice changed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if he tells you he sold the car, he\u2019s lying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The video ended.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone looked at Daniel.<\/p>\n<p>He closed his eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Naomi said, \u201cUnbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I stood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhere is the car?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daniel exhaled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a storage unit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow far?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwenty minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ortiz pointed at him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou give me the address.
